I can install fences with either timber or concrete posts for my clients in Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield. Many people find timber posts more visually pleasing because they match the fence panels. Timber posts are also cheaper and can provide better security because panels are screwed to the posts rather than slotted into grooves, which is how concrete posts work.

Closeboard fencing is one of the most popular types for gardens in Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and across the UK. It is a classic design which is strong and works well in all types of gardens and around all types of houses.
Closeboard panels are made from overlapping vertical boards, which are fixed in place by horizontal boards on one side. There will generally be three or four vertical boards placed evenly up each panel.
The overlapping boards create complete privacy because they prevent anyone from seeing through the fence and into your garden. For the greatest privacy, as well as security, my building company recommends 6ft-high panels.
